His vision at JSP is driven by the core principle of nation building and creating world-class capabilities to make India self-reliant. JSP, under his leadership, was declared as the second-largest value creator globally between 2005 and 2009 by the Boston Consulting Group.

He is the president of the Flag Foundation of India and also the founding chancellor of O P Jindal Global University, which is ranked as the number one private university in India as per the QS World University Rankings 2021.
