The Indian Railway sector is expanding at a healthy rate. It is believed that in the next five years, it will become the third largest, accounting for 10% of the global market. Keeping this in mind, Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) has pioneered the fabrication of 121-metre-long track rails and designed a facility to factory weld these rails in welded lengths of up to 484 metres with only 3 welds. These long track rails prove JSP manufacturing prowess, where continual innovation is the rule rather than the exception.
JSP is the first manufacturer in India to create value-added Head Hardened Rails for projects, including high-speed corridors and metro rails.
