Jindal Steel & Power’s (JSP) wire rod mill at Patratu, Jharkhand, produces low carbon, medium carbon, high carbon, and other special grades that include Cold Heading Quality (CHQ), electrode quality, and high carbon wire rods for spring steel, spoke wire, pre-stressed concrete, tyre bead and ACSR. JSP now offers wire rods in 5 mm, 8.5 mm to 23 mm diameters.

Low carbon, medium carbon, high carbon, and other specific grades are produced at a wire rod mill in Patratu, including cold heading quality (CHQ), electrode quality, and high carbon wire rods for spring steel, spoke wire, pre-stressed concrete, tyre bead, and ACSR.
